Is it right to blame every of the African continent's woes on the incidence of colonialism. Is it not debatable that the nature of the state inherited at the end of former colonialism or neo- patrimonial and particularistic orientation of the competing power elites who inherited the post- colonial states is the problem in Africa. We are looking at 3 things here:

1. The nature of the states inherited at the end of colonialism. Should these states be dismantled or preserved?
2. Are we experiencing a complete breakdown of these states through violent conflicts?
3. Neopatrimonialism.

There is no strength in the midst of fake love. You never reach maturity from giving and receiving fake love. Whatever is fake will fade away in no time living you in unnecessary pain and misery.

Strive to give and receive true love: symbolism of life and vitality; the whole essence of life and survival; that increases enthusiasm, interest, energy, action and confidence to go after your dreams. It is only true love that protects you from all your fears and anxieties.

True Love, not Lust and Lies!

Wow! Just one day to go and we did be celebrating the world-wide love, but yet not many of us including me have truly grasped the concept Love. It made sense when a woman who had been married for over 20 years could re-affirm that love had packed up in her son’s barely 8 months marriage. Where there is no love dispute is the order of the day, but where plenty of love is made available it absorbs all flaws including anger, infirmity, insecurity, class and poverty. When love disappears or fades away it was never true love, but lust and lies.

Lust is an intense feeling and craving for a living or non-living object of temporary satisfaction. When the moment of satisfaction fizzles out lies are required to keep up with the game, which eventually comes to an end. It is no surprise a Man who claims to have loved a Woman can wake up from slumber giving excuses as to why he has given up on love. It was lust he had for the woman, and not true love. Whatever is a lie would never stay, but what is true is permanent. Love is all-embracing and make no excuses. It  is not a feeling, not a mistake, not a game and is  not an action item. To die for others and set them free without taking from them is true love. This was exactly what Jesus-Christ did for all, but not many have understood and can make sense of the true love showcased by Jesus-Christ. The true love Christ gave was given to us even without asking for it.

Love is not a Bed of roses, made with the most expensive linen. Love is sacrificial and it involves giving without expecting anything in return. When anyone begins to cry out I love you, but yet I do not get the same feeling from you they are just small kids who are still learning how to crawl. You often find such people looking for alternatives few weeks before valentine. The excuse some give to cheat on their spouse is they are not getting back love in return.

True love engulfs your whole being transforming your personality to the point you are called foolish. It waits and by its real nature, there is light at the end of the tunnel. True Love makes the one who gives it mad and almost at a cross-road.

 The world sets a day aside february 14th that declares and celebrates Love, but I mean an encompassing true love, which is ready to give up the gift of life just for others to reach the pinnacle of their existence. Nelson Mandela is another living Icon of true Love who gave up most part of his youthful and energetic days to liberate the people of South Africa. I am just wondering if Love is not a prerequisite required for our leaders who have been called to shepherd their flock. Those who practice love can never be hindered by the negative forces in heaven and earth. Now, I am sure you understand why death could not hold Christ in the abyss where he was sent with no hope of return. Jesus-Christ bled patiently to death because of true love. True Love conquers even a murderer holding a gun and ready to pull that trigger. The man capable of killing millions and stealing millions from people through fraud could be transformed through  love.  The criminal condemned justly to death with christ was set free and ushered into paradise without hardwork because of true love.

 True love is not what you perfect in one day it grows as you grow in experience doing those things expected of you to freely give it. True love gives an inner satisfaction of peace knowing you have made others better to become less of importance. It is remarkable whilst Nelson Mandela was in Jail many were already enjoying the "freedom from segregation"; he made himself available to become the sacrificial slave ending apartheid in South Africa.

 The greatest thing about true love is the end result as many can agree why it is called true and love. Whatever is true cannot be hidden forever and because truth is light everything concerning love would be revealed.

Count down to the day many have established deliberately for love, but let this guide you if that is a memorable day you have chosen just to exchange gifts you have not even began to love.

The love capable of bringing peace and healing to a hurting world is the one showcased by Christ, which is worthy of emulation by our leaders in position of authority or anyone occupying leadership position.

"Husbands love your wife just as christ loved the church." Christ first loved, but did not get love and respect back in return.

"When love is from the head it is lust and lies".

"True Love would be tested".

"True Love waits forever without seeking options".

"Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it."

"Flowers are not a true representative of love, it captures just a portion of true love which is beautiful and bright, but its dying nature is that of lust."

Food For Thought: Are You With Your Divine Partner?

A single woman or man who is divorced and has just come out of a wrong marriage due to stupid decisions made in the past is far better than a married woman or man with a wrong partner plus children now trying to make it work at all cost.

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but the most powerful are those who take the right steps to start in the right path.

I want you all in a relationship to re-examine your partner and inquire from God if this is truly the ‘bone of your bone’ or ‘flesh of your flesh’. We should have all done it before marriage, but many went into marriage for the wrong reasons like the woman of Samaria. Although, the woman of Samaria was not a born again Christian, but many Christians still end up marrying the wrong partner.

Your body, soul, and spirit would tell you on a daily basis if a man or woman is truly your divine partner.

Remember the woman of Samaria who met Jesus-Christ at the well. Jesus-Christ a prophet of God said to her she had married five men, but as a matter of fact you are currently living with a Man, not your husband.

The fact you have done a wedding ceremony and currently living unhappily with a man or woman in a house who has given you children does not make him your husband or wife if heaven has not ordained that husband or wife for you. You can make the best decisions, but a man or woman, not your partner would cause you more harm than good.

Therefore, I advise all single people out there to look before they leap. You must inquire of the Lord about your partners before you get married through prayer and fasting. You must beware of the signs God gives you before marriage more than anything else.

Many of us live in constant denial trying to make a living out of what is not meant to work even with the best decisions within the family.

Despite the storms When you are with your divine partner you will have peace. True peace is not when all is well. True peace is your sanity in the midst of turbulence.

Father please forgive those of us who have gone into marriage for wrong reasons and ignored our divine partners.

Father, empower us to retrace our steps if we have made serious mistakes that are now affecting our destinies. Amen.

Father in the name of Jesus-Christ let your will be done in our lives, not our selfish will. Amen.

Food For Thougt: Your Original Destiny!

Let it be the original If there is anything you should strive to be in life. You can only get so far from being the counterfeit and not the original. You can only get so far using another man's glory and trying to walk in a path not meant for you. Although, you may dream big, but being the counterfeit is what would stop you. Why? there is a limit for the counterfeit because you are not the original. You cannot get so far through household or external witchcraft promotion.

Who Is the Original? They go through a process and get promoted through God.

There is truly no limit for you if you are the original.

The original waits on God while the counterfeit continues showing off and displaying false glory.

There is nothing new under the sun remember Saul and David; Remember Joseph and his siblings; Remember Esau and Jacob. Esau's mother transferred his destiny to his brother Jacob. Jacob felt there was no limit for him being the counterfeit, but he was wrong.As a matter of fact, He had to undo the wickedness of his mother for peace to reign between him and Esau. He had no peace even with all his wealth until he wrestled with God who changed his name from Jacob to Israel. Jacob had to cry out to God because he lived another Man's destiny; was unfulfilled and lacked peace even with his wife, estate and children.

There is no limit for you when you are truly the original.

Let us all strive to be that original God has designed us to become.

"The Fear called Greatness"

The challenge we as humans are faced with on a daily basis is not trying to be another person, but taking that giant step to unravel what makes us different from another person. The trip to self-awareness; self-discovery; and self-actualization is a life-long process. Yet, it would seem not many of us have bothered to start this journey. Are you not tired of being someone else? What is that fear hindering you from making mistakes, learning new experiences and discovering yourself?

Many have lived, planning to live a life void of happiness and fulfilment by going against their unique identity, passion and purpose by failing to nurture the gifts embedded by their source during creation. Some do not know they can acquire extra gifts because they have failed to process this inner bonus already within them. Thus, they have no capacity to deal with the external.

It is regrettable that many of us will fall and are still falling into those traps elicited by ignorance, lack of understanding and pride within us to keep moving in the opposite direction from the long decided destination(LDD). It is not a joke to see that a Man would almost be 40 years old to start the endorsed journey of greatness. Meanwhile, he has less than 50 more years to live considering we are entitled to reasonable 100 years.

It is most applauding to even re-trace your step during your life-time as oppose to when one is in the cemetery which has no respect for raw talents, slightly processed talent and fully processed talents.

We are all destined for greatness, but how many would realise one quarter of that greatness within them? How many have even started the true journey of greatness which has nothing to do with fame and money? 

The fear which has hindered many to exhort themselves, be exhorted by others and their environment into greatness has made a mockery of many Men who had pursued greatness without setting boundaries, fully understanding the concept and allowing the natural gift to become a hindrance.

We have the power within to define and establish boundaries for whatever term be it "greatness", "happiness" or "success". Ambiguity should not be an excuse to ignore the facts which are extremely valuable. When a name has more than one possible interpretation, the problem is not the various shades of opinion but rather what we are willing to die for believing it is true. What is your spirit telling you about greatness?

I have tried to define greatness although an ambiguous term. I make no excuses for ambiguity of greatness preventing the inner voices of clarity saying to me get ready, row that boat to your destination. I find I often have to deal with that inner fear fighting against my desire to row at the destined level at each stride of the way to greatness.

I must confess what a rocky journey when you have made the decision calling that greatness forth within you. It requires self- awareness, self-discovery, purpose, commitment, extra hours, extra fuel to ignite your spirit Man. You will sometimes hear so many voices, but that serene voice saying you can do it, is what you should train yourself to hear. It will not advice you on money, fame or riches. It will say, Queen Ama when was the last time you exhorted another brother to greatness, when was the last time you assisted someone in need, when was the last time you prayed for others and not yourself, when was the last time you assisted in a charitable organisation. It is a voice which teaches, exhorts, directs and inspires you to be selfless and not selfish.

Jesus-Christ, Mother Theresa, Nelson Mandela, Apostle Paul, Oprah Winfrey amongst other inspirational voices, which have inspired and are inspiring me to be what I have been called to be.

What voice is inspiring you? How many of you are familiar with the windless voice? 

Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North and South America are simply hard on hearing that peaceful voice warning aggressively what is required of governments, institutions, authorities, councils, leadership, ministries and individuals. It is no wonder what was meant to be a gift from the beginning has caused fear in the mind of many individuals who although have pursued what they thought was equivalent to wealth, fame and riches but yet still remarkably poor, unfulfilled, empty and operating at the minimal capacity expected of those not created by GOD.

It is no wonder we have many surprises across the globe. Are they truly surprises? What can we make out from that fear called greatness?

Jane Austen in her work had expressed, "Surprises are Foolish things. The pleasure is not enhanced, and the inconvenience is often considerable". I totally agree surprises could be silly things especially when the thrill is intermittent and warnings are giving beforehand. One begins thinking if it were truly a surprise when the inconveniences caused should have been considered long before they are operational.

The fear called greatness is not what it should be in our soul, mind and body. It should strengthen these parts which forms the totality of our existence.

William Shakespeare was right to state,"but be not afraid of greatness: some men are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.

 It is when a wealthy man goes to the land of no return that many begin to realize that greatness has nothing to do with the accumulated material wealth overtime". The material wealth becomes instrumental for use as a remembrance park. 

It is when we have been asked to attend a friend's funeral that we bother to steer our boat in a different direction having wasted years of going in a wrong direction in the pursuit of fame which many equate to greatness.

Is Money a Touchstone, Guideline, Barometer, Criterion, benchmark for Greatness.

It is not how long we have lived in this world that matters but rather the length of time our influence would remain on Earth. 

Greatness is not about you, it is about impacting more lives and thinking less of self.

I have learnt and experience teaches me not every question requires an answer. Some are based on the true intent of the person looking for a clue to accuse the responder. A few are asked finding the response by reading in between the lines. Most truly want to learn but because of the lack of depth of the responder they... forget. Some get indepth answer but are so perplexed ignoring the cognitive content.
