Welcome to Get Started January!

January is not just a great opportunity to restart, refresh and electrify some of your previous wins from last year. It is also the beginning of a new year and one that presents an opportunity to rebrand and recreate last wins and failures from the previous year.

The key difference to achieving success an attribute of greatness this month will be in actually taking calculated action. Let us get started, January is not only your month to GET STARTED, but to stay focused doing right things. Whatever your mind cannot hold for too long, you cannot achieve it in this month.

Here is a list to electrify your JANUARY and kick-start a Strong 2014:

1. Get Started: This January, You must say goodbye to procrastination. Do not forget these three P's: Purpose, Passion and Perseverance with faith equivalent to or even greater than a mustard seed would help you beat the enemy called procrastination.The world is waiting for your move that would make a difference to humanity. Quit making excuses and get started on that business plan, career goals, partnership. Just do it, but let spirituality guide you this month. 

2.Heroism: Be heroic this month. You must set heroic goals that would help you stretch yourself, your intellect, and there is a likelihood that you end up with what you want. Do you know the capacity of your brain and your strength? It is only the bold that would get their prey just like the Lion. You must make a move this January. Heroism does not come cheap and your giant steps would make a difference.

3. Avoid Distractions: There would be many distractions in this month of January. It would come from the counterfeit of your vision and goals. For every genuine vision, there is a counterfeit in place waiting to distract you. Do not worry about your counterfeit who has gone ahead of you to implement your God-given ideas. You would be faced with many options, but focus on the real cost. You must count the cost of every forgone option as that is the real cost. The fastest solution is not always the best solution. The fast lane does not get you to the finish line. You must stay focused on your core goals and original purpose. You must prioritise to get the real cost of the forgone alternatives. Only the best is good for you, and that comes without distractions. Avoid distractions to get to the finish line of THIS month. What is your purpose? You must have consistent goals that are clearly aligned with your original purpose. Avoid distractions is a phrase and carries weight for this month of January.

4. Launch Out: You must launch out that Champion within you this month. Determine to launch out your real self. The world would be made better by those who launch out giving out the best within them. The world is waiting for those who are ready to pay the price to arise and shine and create room for others to do the same. You must launch out to live only the best life meant for you. Lauch out the best gold within you. You January stands for launching out the best you.

5. GIVE: This is the month to sow abundantly into people's life. You do not have to sow only money, but you can sow your time, love, talent and kindness to others. Quit asking for anything this month and only give your time, love, talent and kindness to your business, ministry, family, health and work. People who consistently ask and rarely give never hold anything in reality. Give in other to get ahead; give to the right people and receive from the right people; Give to get ahead; Give to get the right promotion; give to get that sale; give to provoke your promotion; give to close a deal; give to get a better discount. Give to get anything that will enable you achieve your goals. Keep giving to stay in business, ministry, career and marriage. You must give without limits this month of January.

6. God-Given Assignments: It is key to success this year. You must avoid all man-made assignments for you this year. Although you may require humility to excel in man-made assignments, but it does not get you to the finish line of success. Focus on only God-given assignments and Take 100% responsibility for your decisions and outcomes. Stop blaming the world. You must take responsibility for your decisions and outcomes. Great people are not restricted by their environment, which include their decisions and outcomes. Do not make excuses for your God-given assignments. You must kick the butts this January and get on with it. Yo must relie on only God to achieve your God-given responsibilities. Say no to satan for your God-given assignments. 

7. Stand: You must stand for the positives and let go of the negatives. Faith would help you stand tall in the midst of challenges this month of January. Faith is only the weapon for you this month to unlock closed doors. You must stand rest assured and believe in God's promises for your business, marriage, ministry, finances and career. There is nothing like standing tall when heaven as given you a go ahead on success. 

Welcome to Get Started January!

You must make this month worthwhile as you stay focused on your goals, prioritise and implement.

You are that champion we are waiting for and now is the time to launch out.

What is the moral behind Lance Edward Armstrong's recent fall in the cycling sports?

As the first three letters of his surname states, "Arm". An Arm of flesh would fail you. Naturally, the human strength is not responsible for 100% success. We need to start trusting in something greater than ourselves. Although he championed a good cause, Lance knew his strength would not give him 100% performance, but rather trusting in God that healed him he relied on an arm of flesh. 

Lance Armstrong a professional road racing cyclist had won the Tour de France a record seven consecutive times between 1999 and 2005. However, in 2012 he was disqualified from all his results since August 1998 for using and distributing performance-enhancing drugs and banned from professional cycling for life. A former champion now stripped of his titles and banned from what he loves doing for life.

This was a Man who was diagnosed in October 1996 with testicular cancer that had spread to his brain and lungs. His cancer treatments included brain and testicular surgery and extensive chemotherapy. In February 1997, he was declared cancer-free, and the same year he founded the Lance Armstrong Foundation for cancer support. I wonder what was responsible for his cure. I am sure it is beginning to make sense.

It is not a case of the truth would set you free because Lance never wanted to admit the truth he was doping to perform at a level human strength cannot hold for too long. Not even Oprah could bring out this fact. 

Any Man or Woman that relies on an arm of the flesh is one sure to crash badly In the short, medium and long- term. It does not matter what kind of business or trade. An arm of the flesh is sure to fail you.

Lance Edward Armstrong put his confidence on performance enhancing drugs to give him the performance he needed to be the best at all cost. It sure failed him four years later in the long run. He forgot about God who healed him totally. He trusted 100% in drugs and treatment because they once healed him in the past of Cancer. He went for another set of drugs to boast his performance. 

Today, God is telling Lance Edward Armstrong: I am the alpha and omega; the balm of Gilead and the highest performer. Trust me a 100% when you seek excellence and highest level of performance in Business, competitive sports or anything you know human strength cannot carry for too long. An arm of flesh would fail you my son, says the Lord.  Trust not in the arm of flesh.

A King or Queen is not saved by a powerful army nor a warrior rescued by his immense strength. Don't think that a horse will save you; its formidable strength does not assure victory. Do not think doping will save you, its high rated performance is no guarantee of sustained victory.

An arm of flesh brings about shame, but the arm of God makes a you a permanent victor.

She Died To Liberate Future American Youths

The woman of courage, Woman of the hour: Victoria Soto who died in Connecticut shootings to protect her own pupils in cupboards at the Sandy Hook Elementary School is a true Heroine.

I would love to acknowledge her here on my public fan page for 1 WEEK for what she did and what she represents. You will be remembered in my new book titled, 'The Fear Called Greatness'. I would stamp your name all over the place.
Your story is what I have been looking for in recent times and in reality to tell myself and the world to emulate on greatness and true love.

Victoria Soto gave up her life like Jesus-Christ for others to become better and live. She has finished her mission here on Earth at 27 and making history like Jesus-Christ, Mother Theresa and Martin Luther King.

Victoria Soto has demonstrated greatness and true love. 
My fans and I would all celebrate her for true Greatness and an idea of selfless service for ushering greatness into our own lives. Most important, getting rid of the fear, which hinders greatness in our life of true service and love to humanity. A life of service and love; a life of being selfless and giving out your all to make others better, stronger, healthier and fulfilled.

She has left a reminder for me to be bold and courageous living a selfless life and be ready to take bullets if it requires making other lives better who have not concluded their assignment here on Earth.

My old man, once said to us, 'If you move forward you die If you move backwards you die. Why don't you go forward and die a heroine'?You have gone forward and died to liberate our future youths in America like a true heroine.
You have acknowledged the words of my old man like a true daughter of his.
I wonder if you heard when my father confidently said that wise statement to his 15 children. 
You make me wonder if you are not part of us making us 16 children. Laughs!


Many claim angels are white birds with wide flapping wings, but you came and stayed in human form just to save the lives of the young ones in Sandy Hook Elementary School. 
You staged a momentary scene of silence asking the ones you truly loved to stay quiet in a cupboard for a few seconds while you took bullets on their behalf now ceasing that momentary seconds of silence. You gave up that power over the children to stay first in the cupboard, which was big enough for you to quickly slide into and save your own life.


Yes! Victoria Soto, the ones you truly loved heard that sound of freedom, love and hope after a momentary period of silence.
They heard you screeching below to the ground with a pool of blood liberating them.
You are true heroine; You brought tears of hope to my eyes touching my most precious part of womanhood and re-awakening it. You have awakened my senses that I have not even started.
You have taught as a true teacher it is not about me and my immediate family, but about the external community, larger society and united nation.

Victoria Soto, you have given me the most current inspiration to continue with my assignment here on Earth. You have given me a message for my people back home in Africa that I would not rest until I see change in my country, Nigeria. You have given me hope that the few years on Earth is not worth living If I do not have a true legacy of freedom, hope and unity to leave behind for everyone.

You have now decreed and declared a moment of silence for everyone to think about and retrace their steps.

Victoria Soto you are a true Queen; a world heroine and forever you will be celebrated even among generations yet unborn.

Many parents would remember you forever saying this, 'She's a heroine-She saved my child'.

Many lose their lives for nothing adding no value, but you lost your life for something.

Victoria I wonder what heaven looks like, but you know best as you did get there before many of us.

I wish you a safe flight and bon voyage to the safest place.


We love you and would miss you, but then again you left a gift of freedom, peace, hope and love for many including me.

What Can Sustain Quantity?

Those who come to God for only miracles would be gone as soon as they see manifestations of their needs in the physical.

Abraham in the bible moved the heavens; a lasting covenant between him and God was only made possible by being a true friend. He wanted just a child, but God made a barren man a father of many nations. God gave him a son, Isaac meaning laughter. Abraham definitely got more than he could ever think of at an old age. 

Solomon had the privilege of making a personal request directly to God, but he asked for the immaterial called wisdom; however he was granted the material things of life In abundance such as wealth. Solomon surpassed all the kings of the earth not only in wealth, but also in wisdom.

Solomon first asked for wisdom which moved the heavens. 1kings 3: 10 -12 states, "Yahweh was pleased that Solomon had made this request. And he told him, " Because you have requested this rather than long-life or wealth or even vengeance on your enemies; indeed because you have asked for yourself understanding to discern what is right. I shall grant you your request. I now give you a wise and discerning mind such as no one has had before you nor anyone after you shall ever have. I will also give you what you have not asked for, both wealth and fame; and no king shall be your equal during your lifetime."

Solomon wanted quality to keep quantity; he knew without quality, quantity would diminish overtime. 

This is the main problem we have In Africa and most parts of the world. Some of our leaders; first not called by the ultimate source of life and death have misplaced needs and priorities.  It takes quality to govern people whose fulfillment of destinies are directly dependent upon your Leadership and Governance.

Nelson Mandela is another great leader who displayed Solomon,s kind of selfless attitude. Thus, you would see him enjoying long life with many leaders across the globe wanting to associate themselves with him. 

Success, which is another mark of quality strongly attracts, but failure repels. 

Nelson Mandela had the ability for forgiveness and reconciliation. He integrated the black and White race in South Africa. How powerful considering apartheid destroyed and enslaved many blacks in South Africa making the whites well off. 

When you genuinely desire quality in no time sustained abundance would come to you in various areas measured by length of time; long life, prosperity, health, peace and joy.

The heart is what moves heaven and not the head. 

The head a seedbed for quantity whilst the heart a pedestal for quality. Every human being on the surface of the earth needs both the head and heart core instruments of life to function and be productive. You cannot pursue Quantity and sustain it without quality.

It is no surprise a Man is judged by what comes from his heart. 

God deliberately tests our hearts, knows our secrets and understands our thoughts. Psalm 17 vs 3 states, "You have probed my heart, searched me at night, tested me by fire, and you seen no wickedness in me." 

How many of us can confidently proclaim these words of the psalmist.

Jesus- Christ made it clear in the scriptures; "you would know a sound tree by it's fruit. If you have a rotten tree , it's fruit will be rotten." The word, sound describes quality; a tree cannot produce one good fruit if it is not sound. How much more producing edible fruit in quantity. 

Everything sustainable starts and ends with quality.

It is written in Matthew 12 vs 34, "for the mouth speaks of what fills the heart". This is why God would test the heart and not the head. The heart is the seed bed for quality, which sustains increase of any kind called quantity.

God truly everywhere, knows all; Psalm 139 vs 1-4; O Lord you know me: you have scrutinized me. You know when I sit and when I rise; beforehand you discern my thoughts. You observe my activities and times of rest; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is formed in my mouth, you know what it is all about."

God knows what you need before you even kneel by your bedside or in your closet to pray for those who genuinely communicate with him in love and respect.

We should seek first with all our heart those immaterial things that would make heaven rejoice giving us full dominion here on Earth. We definitely all need some degree of wisdom to have full authority here on Earth as God had instructed us from the beginning. It is quality that moves heaven, which is a true reflection of your heart; therein lies compassion, obedience, true love, forgiveness, repentance, humility and service.

Firstly, Solomon was moved by service, and love emanating from the heart as he cared genuinely about the people he was going to govern. Thus, he requested for an understanding mind in governing the chosen people of God that he may be able to discern between good and evil. A further humble statement from Solomon, "For who is able to govern this multitude of people of yours"? 

Solomon knew quality was required of him to move God's children forward without it quantity would be far from him and the people he was called to Lead considering their number. Furthermore, fulfillment would develop legs running far from his leadership.

What does God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob call you? Does heaven see you as a friend for only miracles or signs and wonders? 

According to Ralph Waldo Emmerson, "The only reward for virtue is virtue; the only way to have a friend is to be one".

You cannot be a deep friend of God if vice is what surrounds you. God cannot be your true friend if you are not a true friend by walking in his ways and obeying his commands. This is what it means to have a quality relationship with anyone.

Nigeria I am speaking to you right now quantity may increase Gross Domestic Product (GDP); making a few men rich, but quality is what would ensure equality, peace, health and eradicate poverty, and diseases. Quality are seen in virtues that cannot be bought with money such as printing new 5,000 Naira notes in Nigeria. 

The only way forward is to get rid of those idols, which give you wealth overnight. Increasing the material things of life without the immaterial such as wisdom, discipline, true love, compassion, patience and obedience required to sustain them would never get us well positioned on a global map.

Growth measured by sudden increase in material wealth, which cannot be sustained overtime is not true Growth. It is superficial and artificial growth that would not lead to any tangible form of development. 

Africa let us wipe off the tears of poverty, diseases, famine, injustice, corruption, unemployment, inequality by pursuing quality to sustain quantity.

Africa it is truly time for Quality and not Quantity. Let us strive for quality and watch a material change that would benefit men and women all across the continent.

Quality sustains Quantity. 

If our destiny is not tied to quality leadership of a country where we reside why do we have leadership in the first place?

Leadership called by God; obedient to instructions and source of call will facilitate the fulfillment of the destiny of the people they are called to lead.

It is a leader who understands the importance of quality that would submit to the instructions of a supreme authority.

Choose your leaders carefully and you did not be struggling with getting the basic and compulsory amenities of life.

Sustained quantity would not be an issue for those who deal kindly in quality.

Why are you here on Earth?

Many young men and women have lost their lives just before their prime because they chose quantity without quality. They lacked the depth to sustain and keep the wealth they got through the wrong means.

What use would be increase of any kind when it cannot be sustained overtime. Now, we are talking quality, which come with values.

True Growth does not necessarily lie in increase in quantity, but rather in quality to sustain increase overtime.

Where quality; love, peace, joy and patience abide in homes you will find happy, stable and united families. The height of it is a community together with love and peace.

Nations where quality is the bedrock, leadership would last and its citizens would be fulfilled.

True Wisdom, which is quality lies in when, how, and what you do to accumulate wealth. It applies to Individuals, Communities and Nations.

Africa it is truly time for Quality and not Quantity.

Women who have no confidence in themselves would find it extremely difficult to accept or see other women shine. The spirit of the crawling crab, which is there to frustrate and hinder others from doing what you cannot do needs to die completely in Women especially within the family unit.

Success and Wealth

Food For Thought: We all have goods of value to sell, but make-sure when and if you sell that God has called and chosen you for that mission. This is what I call success and wealth given to us by God because we are first called for that assignment and empowered by God for that purpose. Who has called you to sell? Why are you selling? Are you selling because you see others around you selling the same? Are you the counterfeit and trying to live another man's dream. Why is the Eagle Not Flying?

We all want to mount up with wings as eagles reaching the mountain top. However, we forget we need to be doves and lambs. We were all designed to fly as eagles but yet some dance around in circles as headless chickens; eventually thumping and ending up dead on the ground.

Flying and spreading those wings requires hard work, perseverance, holiness, brokenness, spiritual power and self-sacrifice.

You can only reach the mountain top and dwelling there forever having understood the principles of becoming a dove, sheep or lamb. What are the key characteristics of these animals? Lambs do not grumble or complain, they love each another. In cold countries where farmers keep sheep and cows, when the weather is extremely cold, the cows die easily, because they would just lie down separately all over the field. But the sheep are not like that; they all come together and generate heat with their bodies to keep themselves warm. They love each other. They do not bite each other, and they respond to the sound produced by the shepherd. The sheep is exceedingly obedient, they follow the shepherd, they are gentle, innocent and do not try to defend themselves even If they are cheated. There is no resentment in them, and this is why they are peculiarly devoted to sacrifice.

Jesus Christ was called the lamb of GOD; it is only the lamb, that kind of creature that can take away sins. The lamb typifies meekness and submissiveness, the dove typifies peace. The lamb is a symbol of Christ; the dove is a symbol of the spirit. What happened to Jesus at baptism shows that the dove can only come and dwell fully in the lamb. Most times the dove is so happy to come upon us, but on getting to us he sees goats, pigs and dogs and of course eagles wanting to fly so quick without getting instructions on how to fly. The dove goes back.

This is the sole reason why so many capable of flying to that mountain often do not go past the base of the mountain. They simply missed the transformation stage of becoming doves first. The dove has failed to dwell in them. They have refused to heed the voice of the master like a sheep led by the shepherd.

I hear many Christians repeat this as a daily routine “The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want, he makes me to lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside the still waters, he restores my soul, and he guides me through the right path for his name sake”. This is quite deep! One wonders having repeated this on a daily basis; many are still hungry, many people lack peace, many still wear the cloak of bitterness. One is simply not a sheep as yet. Try becoming a sheep first and one would hear from the shepherd. The shepherd would only lead one as a sheep. The green pastures are land of opportunities. It is the shepherd who takes you into your divine will, makes one understand ones purpose and gives you the right ability to match your opportunities. 

How can one be a goat and expect to go the path and enjoy the benefits conferred on a sheep? Now friends, let us begin to search our innermost being and truly ask what animals typifies our existence, are we goats, cows, dogs, sheep, lambs, doves or the impatient eagles without wings ready to fly?

Lambs and dove are the most gentle of God’s creatures. Two pictures of brokenness are given of Jesus- the Dove and the Lamb.

Unlike goats and cows, many lambs can be reared by one person, just like in the book of acts, when there were about 8,000 people in the first church, being controlled by 7 deacons; only 7. It is because they were a flock of sheep; if they were goats, even 200 deacons would not be able to handle them.

Going back to the scripture, “but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint”. To wait on the Lord one needs to persevere, be holy and submissive. To do these, you must be a lamb. They shall renew their strength; you can only be renewed if the spirit dwells in you. Hence you need to be totally transformed into a dove. Just when you are charged up in the spirit, then you are ready to take flight like an eagle, running with no trace of weakness, not fainting because the foundation has been sealed. You suddenly find yourself in that secret place, which is the mountain top.

Watch the goat, most times they hit their head on the wall, which is complete stubbornness, most of us get frustrated easily. We are no different from the goat running into a hard wall. Making little or no progress, our eyes are totally blinded from the rubble of a cracked wall which has fallen on us.

Take a bold step to become a sheep, dove, lamb and your wings will gradually grow ready to fly and soar like an eagle.

Please do not be in a hurry to fly when you lack the qualities for flying and how much more making it to the mountain top.

I remember those trusty old days as a teenager, I would try to fly the kite made by me, and it would hover around landing back on my head. I would be so angry, but yet the kite simply lacks the qualities for it to soar on updraughts of air.

Why do you get so angry easily, why are you frustrated, why do you get confused? Why are you still missing your opportunities? Why don’t you have the ability to graze on that land of green pastures?

Many still do not know what it means to be broken, picture Christ a King hanging with all his body parts on that cross. A king with all the attributes of greatness chose not to speak or act at the point where he needed to speak and act. Guys this is brokenness. Christ completed his purpose on the cross through brokenness. Yet many believe if you are not yet broken then it is because you have a purpose.
