Our Lord is risen not just because of his power but character and obedience led to his resurrection.

He was traded in for 30 pieces of silver by his right hand man.

Bitten and smitten; mocked and provoked he stood still without flinching.

A bitter pain from betrayal could not hold his forgiveness.

King Jesus-Christ fell three times with his cold cross looking like he would not rise again and only one Man, Simon of Cyrene helped him.

King Jesus-Christ was hung on a cheap cross meant for criminals.

King Jesus Christ cried out Eli Eli Lama sabathani, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

King Jesus-Christ said I thirst. soldiers lifted a sponge soaked in sour wine (vinegar) to Him. They did not care about him but offered him a cheap drink for Roman soldiers.

A prolonged suffering meant to send King Jesus Christ to hell.

The same crowd who once lifted him worked against him because of jealousy, ambition and despise for the truth.

He went into chasm: deep crack, gap, or opening in the earth or rock, often very wide and difficult to cross. 

The Lord was delivered from true love which cannot be broken. He passed this chasm and carried light through it.

Our Lord King Jesus Christ stood for the truth, transformed lives and conquered the cross.

Our Savior has not changed but still transforning lives, praying and filled with gratitude.

King Jesus-Christ bravery would be felft across generations yet unborn.

“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord…”

His Sovereignty is felt; his Supremacy is acknowledged, his divine Lordship is embraced by all.

King Jesus-Christ is the reason we reflect on Easter which means

E: Excellence

A: Arise

S: Salvation 

T: Truth

E: Everlasting 

R: Resurrection

🏆Toastmasters is a global organization founded in 1924 by Ralph C. Smedley. He observed that many people had brilliant ideas but lacked the confidence to express them effectively. To address this, he created a supportive environment where individuals could practice public speaking, receive constructive feedback, and develop leadership skills.

The first Toastmasters club was established at the YMCA in Santa Ana—a vibrant community hub known for youth development and leadership training. By 1930, the organization was officially named Toastmasters International.

Today, Toastmasters has grown into a global network with thousands of clubs across more than 100 countries, impacting over 8 million people through leadership, communication, and public speaking development.

Nigeria, part of District 130 (12 countries in West and Central Africa), is home to 3 Divisions namely, Division C with 20 clubs in Abuja, Division D has 22 clubs in Lagos, Portharcourt and Uyo while Division G also has 22 clubs spread across Abuja, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina and Bauchi. Expansion to other cities are paramount to us.

A victory at that level will take them to Gabon for the District 130 International Speech and Evaluation Contest in May 2026 and from there, one person will emerge as representative for Africa on the global stage in Vancouver British Colombia, Canada in August 2026.

The Snake Era: Stop Exploiting Us for Money

King Jesus Christ sits at the helm of affairs.

Man has been given dominion to control the universe including snakes.

Luke 10:19 (KJV):

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”  This Bible verse captures spiritual authority, power, your right and dealing with evil power.

However, This is the snake era where people send snakes to others from a place of anger, jealousy, hatred, malice and evil practices.

A BBC post unfolds that Ifunanya Nwangenea well-known soprano singer in Nigeria - finding fame a few years ago on the local version of the TV competition The Voice was asleep last Saturday morning in her ground-floor apartment in Nigeria's capital city when she was awoken at around 08:00 by a searing pain on her wrist. 

"A snake came up on her bed and bit her," Ifunanya's father Christopher Nwangene told the BBC's Newsday programme.

Snakes have their habitat and are happy in their own kingdom.

Our activities sometimes show hatred towards snakes by using them for bag manufacturing and selling them at exorbitant prices.

There are commercial snake farms around the world where snakes are bred, raised, and processed specifically for their skins, which are then used to make luxury bags, shoes, belts, and accessories. These are often regulated operations tied to the global fashion industry.

🇹🇭 Thailand has one of the biggest

Large-scale python farms (Reticulated & Burmese pythons) with 

Skins exported globally.  The established snake-skin industries in Thailand supplies leather for European and Asian luxury brands although it has sttrong government regulation under CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora).

🇻🇳 Vietnam also has snake farms integrated with leather processing factories. The skins are used locally and exported often in farm-to-factory pipelines.

🇮🇩 Indonesia is one of the largest exporters of python skins. Combination of farmed and wild-regulated collection

🇨🇳 China is involved with Industrial-scale snake farming. Integrated manufacturing (skin and bag) and also a major supplier for mid-range luxury goods.

How to Set Goals in 2026?

We are getting to the period where we begin to set goals. It is not the time to be anxious by setting goals that are not reachable. Your goals should motivate you enough to work hard but not stress you.

Assuming you set goals to become a president of a country and you have not been called by GOD. It is not an achievable goal.

GOALS should be SPIRITUAL, MODEST, ACTIONABLE, REACHABLE , TRUTHFUL, EFFICIENT and REASONABLE.

This is my own smarter version. I want you to use it this New Year and see if you don't do better than your regular SMART version which says specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time bound.
