Food For Thought: Are You With Your Divine Partner?
A single woman or man who is divorced and has just come out of a wrong marriage due to stupid decisions made in the past is far better than a married woman or man with a wrong partner plus children now trying to make it work at all cost.
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but the most powerful are those who take the right steps to start in the right path.
I want you all in a relationship to re-examine your partner and inquire from God if this is truly the ‘bone of your bone’ or ‘flesh of your flesh’. We should have all done it before marriage, but many went into marriage for the wrong reasons like the woman of Samaria. Although, the woman of Samaria was not a born again Christian, but many Christians still end up marrying the wrong partner.
Your body, soul, and spirit would tell you on a daily basis if a man or woman is truly your divine partner.
Remember the woman of Samaria who met Jesus-Christ at the well. Jesus-Christ a prophet of God said to her she had married five men, but as a matter of fact you are currently living with a Man, not your husband.
The fact you have done a wedding ceremony and currently living unhappily with a man or woman in a house who has given you children does not make him your husband or wife if heaven has not ordained that husband or wife for you. You can make the best decisions, but a man or woman, not your partner would cause you more harm than good.
Therefore, I advise all single people out there to look before they leap. You must inquire of the Lord about your partners before you get married through prayer and fasting. You must beware of the signs God gives you before marriage more than anything else.
Many of us live in constant denial trying to make a living out of what is not meant to work even with the best decisions within the family.
Despite the storms When you are with your divine partner you will have peace. True peace is not when all is well. True peace is your sanity in the midst of turbulence.
Father please forgive those of us who have gone into marriage for wrong reasons and ignored our divine partners.
Father, empower us to retrace our steps if we have made serious mistakes that are now affecting our destinies. Amen.
Father in the name of Jesus-Christ let your will be done in our lives, not our selfish will. Amen.
