ReplyDeleteI must admit that this is very well written, and it seems to have come from the heart of man who has fallen in love with a very beautiful woman; a woman whose “beauty radiates like a diamond”, as he puts it.
It is interesting to note though, that the writer is strictly infatuated with outward beauty and no clue about the concept of inward beauty. He seems to be oblivious to the obvious fact that “Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting”, as wisely put by King Solomon.
Thus, I really hope the receiver of the letter is mindful of “lovers” like this who, although sincere, is yet to understand what it means to truly love someone. A man who claims that a woman was made for him because she is beautiful is yet to be in touch with himself. He is yet to understand what his purpose in life is, and what heaven is all about. In fact, the writer is in love with himself more than the woman he claims heaven made for him. What happens if an accident disfigures the beauty he is infatuated with?
Queen Ama, all that I have for you is love; love in its truest meaning. Nothing more! Nothing less! Simple and yet complicated; deep and yet obvious; strong and yet soft.
