Hurricane Sandy:You Can't Hold Us Back!

Oh Sandy Hurricane category 1; shut up and die down; because we have built our house on a solid rock.
We know we shall stand come snow; rain; sunshine and storm because we have built; our house on solid rock.
Christ is our rock, our refuge and stronghold!

Sandy Hurricane you can’t hold us back; becos Christ is our rock.
Our refuge, our stronghold!
Firm as the tree's root that clutches the land.
He who has faith builds without worry, not like the man who builds upon wickedness; theft; abortion and corruption.
We set our house on a solid foundation.
Christ is our rock the true essence of our being.

I know a laissez-faire economy where people loved to live "free",
They pitched their tent by the side of the sea.
It stood near the surf and was washed by the gentle spray
'Till one day sandy hurricane came and washed it away.

I know a rich dude who loved to live high.
He built his castle near up to the sky: went up there with his private jet; in summer and spring.
His mansion stood pretty well!

Until Sandy Hurricane came: Grounded his private jet for 9 days. When winter winds whistled, they hit the dirt.

I know a liar, a cool one to know,
He built his house out of ice and of snow,
In cold blood; his night work was done,
But it melted away with the warm morning sun.

I know a murderer, who built out of straw,
The flimsiest fellow that I ever saw,
One day a consuming fire set it to flame,
And nothing was left to remember his heritage.

Oh Sandy Hurricane category 1; shut up and die down; because we have built our house on solid rock.
We know we shall stand come snow; rain; sunshine and storm because we have built; our house on solid rock.
Christ is our rock, our refuge and stronghold!
