Jesus-Christ understood his mission and made it clear he had not come to abolish the existing law. He did not mix up tradition with things of the spirit. He could have redefined the tradition, but hejust did not go there. He said pay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. He understood there are titles which are not for the kingdom of God, but a slap on the face of God and does not promote things of the spirit. Pay to Caesar what is Caesar and give God what belongs to him. Let those who have ears begin to listen.
