Peaceful Battle

Food For Thought: Wisdom for Daily Living.

It is not every time you fight war with violence. David at some point in his battles had to confront the enemy in a peaceful conversation. I Remember his simple conversation with King Saul who wanted him dead at all cost. David reminded him of the scenes where he tried to kill him. Saul saw it as a weakness rather than an opportunity to withdraw his seating sword and save his own life. It was shortly after the peaceful confrontation, which King Saul ignored but continued with his plot to kill David that led to his quick death.
