Womanhood has been seriously downgraded by vessels worthy of honor and prestige.
I have thought about the issues faced by women on a daily basis from men, families and society. It may interest you to know these issues can be traced back to women like you and me.
On this unfortunate account one can confidently state,
"Woman your problem is not necessarily Man, but other Women. Until, women begin to respect each other they would suffer less set back from men, their families, communities and societies.
Some of us may have our reservations and intelligent thoughts like a Pastor friend who wrote me stating from the bottom of her heart.
"How many people have chased an individual but one still decides to be faithful to that very one that they are with. We are not teaching our young men to be committed but we will spend all our resources on the women hence absolving them of their responsibilities. The truth is that we will always be surrounded by temptation (men and women) it is the level of respect that one's has for themselves will determine their next level and if they are willing to throw away years of investment."
The above statement still points back to the womenfolk who must respect one another should they want to make individual and collective progress.
The truth:woman to woman issues is not just about being faithful or promiscuity. Women have not understood what respect means and until they love themselves enough to extend it to other women then we all stop suffering setbacks from Men. Setback may come in different forms and not only from a partner being promiscuous.
The key food for thought is unity among real women who are not envious, copycats, but genuine, confident and have deep values. Wherever you meet a real woman she ignites deep change in her family, community and society. Wealth is not what makes a man, community or society respect a woman, but the way Women uphold their femininity and God given position.
The first major woman to woman issue was recorded in the bible. Sarah treats her maid, Haggai with so much disdain after getting all she wanted from her. She uses her authority without respect for human feelings and conditions. The resultant effect of an unpalatable action puts another woman in a marital quagmire. Sometimes, we use other women like ourselves to reach our selfish ends to the detriment of womenfolk.
Sometimes, we form networks in order to reach our selfish goals of using other women to get to the top.
I want you all to close your eyes for a minute and think about how you treat your fellow women on a daily basis? Do you snob others who are not well off like you? What do you say about your fellow women to men (Husband, Brothers, Uncle, Nephews, Male Friends and work colleagues).
What makes you a real woman? Is it the size of your bank account, position, expensive clothing and accessories, family and network?
How do you speak to your housemaids at home? Do you ever wonder why some husbands would even settle for even a housemaid? What is your idea of change for womanhood?
How do we tackle these issues as it affects woman to woman.
It would be unwise to leave out most of these issues plaguing women and caused by other women in their families, communities and societies.
Are you not tired of setbacks from our men, families and societies? Therefore, what is the way forward on women to women issues as it affects you and me?
Undeniable love and respect for the womenfolk would make you and me much better.
I just picked up from a friend another woman to woman issue:
I have been dating my best friend's husband for over ten years. He says that he loves me more than her and she is the biggest mistake of his life. We have talked about marriage but he never proposed. They have four beautiful children together. He assures me that once he leaves her for me we will get married and have our own children but I must never make her feel uncomfortable or unhappy because of the children. She loves and trusts me and tells me all her fears about him cheating with another innocent friend whom I have encouraged her to stop speaking to. He says that I am more beautiful than her. She is younger than me.
I visit them and stay with them every now and then. I travel around with her husband more than her and he gives me anything money can buy? I am worried that my biological clock is ticking away but he says we can adopt if it gets too late.
Waoh!!!!! Miss beautiful, are you there? Have you ever wondered why she is in his home and you are still single and hidden in his closet?
Why not get alive and smell the coffee? As my gran taught me " married men in extramarital relationships are ticking time bombs waiting to explode and the good responsible ones never leave their wives and children" A word is enough for the wise. Do not say that I did not tell you.
When you use other women to achieve your selfish goals then you can only get so far with it.
For those of you who support evil knowingly your suffering would know no end because the womenfolk must be treated with respect and true love. We have destroyed for such a longtime and must take a 360 degree turn before it is too
late.
